“Open Access” Schedule - Our schedule has approximately 50% of the visit slots left open for “Same Day” appointments. This allows the office to get patients scheduled for a follow up visit into the office in a timely fashion as well as affording the flexibility to bring patients who feel or whose family feels the patient should be seen that day into the office. This type of scheduling has allowed us to best serve the patients of today.
Office Hour Phone Calls - Calls will be taken by the front office staff and directed to the appropriate staff member. If the call is in reference to a medical condition, the call will be forwarded to the nurse who will be able to answer any of your questions, assess the need for an office visit or pass this information onto the provider for evaluation. We have also established message lines for patient to leave requests for Referrals, Medication Refills and scheduling follow up appointments. These messages will be returned within 24 hours.

Phone Calls After Office Hours- All Medical related calls will be forwarded to the answering service who will contact the Doctor on call. The Doctor on call will return your call within 15 minutes. There is a Doctor on call 7 days a week. If your call with the provider meets the criteria for Telehealth then your insurance company may assess a copay or deductible.
For office related phone calls requesting Referrals, Medication Refills or Scheduling/Cancelling Appointments a message on the appropriate line will be returned within 24 hours.
Please be prepared to pay any co-pay required by your insurance provider at time of visit. To help facilitate this Central Bucks Family Practice accepts payment in the form of cash, check and credit card for payments exceeding $15.
The patient will be called with results as soon as test results are received and reviewed by the physician.
In the atmosphere of managed care, a tremendous amount of referrals need to be processes by our office. Please allow at least 24 hours for all referrals.
A P.A. is a trained professional with 2-3 years of schooling after under-graduate work. They evaluate and treat common medical problems and may prescribe medication under the supervision of a physician.
