Dear Valued Patient,
It is with mixed emotions that I am writing you to announce my retirement from medical practice on June 30, 2023. I have been privileged and honored to have collaborated in your health and well-being, and this decision is not made lightly. Your lives and paths have given me purpose and meaning.
This is the only job I have ever held as a physician, starting here right after completing my Residency in 1994, and I have had the joy of caring for several generations of family members. This has always been a source of personal satisfaction, and a reminder that Family Practice was always the right choice of medicine for me.
At this point I am looking forward to a new chapter, part of which will be in service to others in some way which is a reflection of my many years with you. It will give me the opportunity to connect with family on the West Coast, and to pursue new hobbies. It will give me perspective and time to reminisce about my practice made special by people like you. I will be able to try your recipes, read your books, pursue some of the kinds of wonderful volunteer work you have told me about.
I leave you in the hands of my highly trained, capable, and compassionate co-providers, and I have endeavored to provide them the most comprehensive notes in order to create a seamless transition. Our Management Team is poised as well to help provide suggestions and assistance. Central Bucks Family Practice continues to thrive and grow, and I am confident in its future.
